MOSCOW, October 27 (Itar-Tass) - About 3,000 Moscow policemen will ensure security of an opposition action, which will be held in the Russian capital, the press service of the Moscow police told Itar-Tass on Saturday.
“The march will go from 14:00 until 17:00 Moscow time on Sunday from the Pushkinskaya Square along Strastnoy, Petrovsky, Rozhdestvensky, Sretensky boulevards to the crossroads of the Turgenevskaya Square with Academician Sakharov Avenue,” the Moscow police said.
People will have to pass through 40 metal detection arches to attend the march. “Twenty metal detection arches will be placed across Bolshoi Putinkovsky bystreet and 20 more metal detection arches will be placed across the Strastnoy Boulevard,” the police press service said.
“About 3,000 policemen, servicemen of the interior troops and voluntary patrolmen will ensure public order and security of people in Moscow,” the press service said.
The Moscow police ask the Muscovites to show vigilance and if suspicious people or abandoned objects are noticed in the mob they should immediately inform police about it and not to give way to provocations.
