KRASNOZNAMENSK (Moscow region), October 24 (Itar-Tass) - Russian Defense Minister Sergei Shoigu has inspected the ground facilities of monitoring and control of the domestic space grouping in the town of Krasnoznamensk, Moscow Region, on Thursday.

“At the command post of the Titov Main Test and Space Systems Control Centre the defense minister heard the report of Commander of the Aerospace Defense Troops Major General Aleksander Golovko on the guidelines of improving the ground control centre and studied the peculiarities of combat duty to ensure control of the Russian orbital grouping,” the press service and information department of the Russian Defense Ministry told reporters on Thursday.

During the visit to the centre Shoigu has also examined the space flight control centre, the stations of collecting and processing information and other facilities.
