Two servicemen die at shooting range in Dagestan, investigation is under way

MOSCOW, October 23 (Itar-Tass) - Two servicemen died while training at the Dalniy shooting range in Dagestan, Russia’s North Caucasus, on October 17.

Military prosecutors have initiated criminal proceedings on charges of violation of rules of driving and operation of vehicles that caused the death of two and more people.

Captain Semyon Rikhterman, the commander of the 7th motor-rifled company of military unit 63354, is also being prosecuted on charges of negligence that by inadvertence led to the death of two and more people, the press service of the military investigative department of the Russian Investigation Committee told Itar-Tass.
