YEREVAN, October 4 (Itar-Tass) - Director of the Federal Drug Control Service (FSKN) Viktor Ivanov has called for stepping up the efforts to set up an anti-drug operation centre within the CSTO.
Ivanov said it was necessary to determine the directions of the work of the centre.
“Joint strategic operations by our competent bodies and the CSTO states would be the base for the activity of the centre. Thus, “we’ll be able to increase the effectiveness of our activity to counter drug trafficking,” the FSKN head said.
At the CSTO summit in Sochi “the presidents called for stepping up the work to create the CSTO anti-drug operations centre”, Ivanov said.
