Role of military cooperation between CSTO countries grows

YEREVAN, October 3 (Itar-Tass) - Secretary-General of the Collective Security Treaty Organisation (CSTO) Nikolai Bordyuzha said the role of military-technical and military-economic cooperation between the member-countries grew considerably.

Speaking at a session of the interstate commission on military-technical cooperation, Bordyuzha said the creation of service facilities was one of the major directions of military-economic cooperation.

The KAMAZ-Armenia facility will be opened in Armenia. It will supply automotive engineering to the Defence Ministry and law enforcement structures and deal with repairs of arms and military hardware, the CSTO secretary-general said.

Bordyuzha noted “the achievements in military-economic integration within the CSTO”.
