MOSCOW, August 14 (Itar-Tass) - Moscow needs about one million labor migrants, but it is important where they arrive from, acting Moscow mayor Sergei Sobyanin told Business FM radio on Wednesday.

“Indeed, Moscow needs immigrants, about one million people. But the question is - what kind of immigrants?” he said. According to the mayor, it is necessary to first employ Russian nationals arriving from all over the country, or Ukrainian and Belarusian nationals.

“These are people with a good command of the Russian language, with Slavic customs,” Sobyanin said.
