Russian communist leader resuscitated

The leader of Russian socialist party Gennady Zyuganov was hospitalized with high blood pressure

The head of the Russian communist party Gennady Zyuganov was taken to hospital in the Russian southern city of Kislovodsk. The party press release says the politician felt a pang in the knee, that caused high blood pressure. Zyuganov spent last few days at the health resort in Kislovodsk. He was expected to travel to the North Ossetia to meet communist party members and take part in the Russian language Day. According to the party aid, State Duma deputy Alexander Yushchenko, Zyuganov is “in stable condition that causes no concern”:

- Zyuganov spends the beginning of each June at the health resort in Kislovodsk. This year was not an exception. He walks a lot there. He had a knee problem, and either this or the weather changes had raised his blood pressure. As the doctors at the health resort were unable to diagnose the politician, he was taken to the clinic in Kislovodsk with all the necessary equipment. After the examination they’ll file their recommendations, whether Zyuganov should interrupt the treatment at the resort. No resuscitation, everything is fine, we’ve talked to him. He even got to the clinic himself, by car.
