Russia’s EMERCOM sends humanitarian cargos to flooded Far East

MOSCOW, August 13 (Itar-Tass) - Russia’s EMERCOM, the Ministry of Emergency Situations, sends humanitarian cargos to flood-affected Far East regions, Irina Rossius, EMERCOM spokesperson, told ltar-Tass.

“Humanitarian cargos are loaded on board of an IL 76 aircraft at the Ramenskoye airfield near Moscow. Flood-control levees, power plants, water purification units, furniture and foodstuffs will be delivered to flood-hit Far Eastern regions.

She has said the total weight of humanitarian aid is nearly 40 tons.
