Alfa Bank bomb threat false, police says

Law enforcemnets now looking for caller

MOSCOW, August 13 (Itar-Tass) - Police officers have not found any explosive devices at Alfa Bank, Moscow, after a bomb threat call made earlier in the day, a law-enforcement source told Itar-Tass.

Police received the call on Tuesday afternoon; Ministry For Emergency Situations scrambled to evacuate over 2,500 employees from the office building. "Bomb squads with sniffer dogs have searched the building. They have not found anything of relevance. Police are taking measures to detain the caller," the source said.
