NALCHIK, July 12 (Itar-Tass) - The counterterrorist operation regime was lifted in Nalchik, after three gunmen were killed in fighting there, the Kabardino-Balkar Republic's Interior Ministry told Itar-Tass on Friday.

The regime was lifted at 11:00 Moscow time.

According to the preliminary information, all of the group, who offered resistance when they were detected in an abandoned country house, were killed.

Special police groups immediately went to the site. Fighting began there at 05:45 Moscow time. The counterterrorist operation regime was imposed at 05:40.
