NALCHIK, July 12 (Itar-Tass) - The counterterrorist operation regime was lifted in Nalchik, after three gunmen were killed in fighting there, the Kabardino-Balkar Republic's Interior Ministry told Itar-Tass on Friday.
The regime was lifted at 11:00 Moscow time.
According to the preliminary information, all of the group, who offered resistance when they were detected in an abandoned country house, were killed.
At 05:35 Moscow time on Friday, an unknown man called the "02" police service in Nalchik and said he saw three armed people in a country house on the outskirts of a cottage area, the press service of the republic's Interior Ministry told Itar-Tass earlier.
Special police groups immediately went to the site. Fighting began there at 05:45 Moscow time. The counterterrorist operation regime was imposed at 05:40.
