One woman killed, four persons injured in traffic accident in Volgograd region

An investigation is underway

VOLGOGRAD, June 28 (Itar-Tass) - A woman died and four persons, including two children, were injured in a traffic accident involving a passenger bus in Russia’s southern Volgograd region, a spokeswoman for the regional police department told Itar-Tass on Friday.

According to the spokeswoman, the accident took place at the 62nd kilometer of the federal highway linking Volgograd and the neighboring Rostov region. According to preliminary information, an Audi car hit a Neoplan bus carrying 15 passengers. The bus overturned. Four passengers, including two teenagers, were hurt, one woman died. The bus was heading from Samara for the resort city of Sochi.

An investigation is underway.
