MOSCOW, June 28 (Itar-Tass) - A 6 kilogram chlorine gas emission was registered in a magnesium plant’s hangar in Solikamsk, Russia’s Urals, the Emergencies Ministry told Itar-Tass on Friday.
There were two people hurt in the incident, which were hospitalized and are receiving medical aid.
“The chlorine emission occurred over a pipeline failure in one of the hangars,” the source said.
“Currenly, the leak was eliminated,” the source said.
There is no threat for the population.
