TBILISI, June 27 (Itar-Tass) - NATO is interested in developing and improving relations with Russia but it does not understand the logic of some decisions taken by the Russian government, the Secretary General of the North-Atlantic pact, Anders Fogh Rasmussen said Thursday as he addressed a meeting of Georgian students at the National Library in Tbilisi.

NATO would like to develop dialogue and cooperation with Moscow in the framework of the NATO-Russia Council, he said, adding however that he does not always understand the logic of some decisions taken in the Kremlin.

One may get an impression that some people in the Kremlin still remain in the grips of the Cold War era worldview, Rasmussen said.
