KIEV, June 26 (Itar-Tass) - Participants in the Geneva discussions on stability and security in the South Caucasus will discuss a draft document on the non-use of force, Ukrainian Foreign Ministry spokesman Yevgeny Perebeinos said.

The OSCE Chairman-in-Office Special Representative on Protracted Conflicts, Andrey Deshchitsa, will co-chairman of the Gebeva discussions, which will last till June 28.

“The Geneva discussions on a document on the non-use of force were started in March. The document was supported by the EU, the U.N. and the OSCE” due to the fact that Ukraine’s priority during the presidency in the OSCE was to contribute to the settlement of frozen conflicts, the press service said.

While visiting Georgia, Ukrainian Foreign Minister, OSCE Chairman-in-Office Leonid Kozhara said he is concerned over South Ossetia’s erection of barriers on the administrative border line. The Ukrainian ministry called “for discussing this issue within the existing international mechanisms by talks”.
