MOSCOW, June 26 (Itar-Tass) - Russian President Vladimir Putin will receive Yukiya Amano, Director-General of the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA), on Wednesday.
A Kremlin press service official said, "During the meeting, it is planned to discuss matters concerning the development of Russia-IAEA interaction in the field of uses of nuclear energy for peaceful purposes, as well as some aspects of international cooperation in the field of nuclead non-proliferation."
Yukiya Amano arrives in Russia to attend an international conference on the theme of "Atomic Energy in the 21st Century", which is due to be held in St Petersburg from June 27 to 29.
