MOSCOW, June 25 (Itar-Tass) - The Moscow government at its meeting on Tuesday announced its plans to name one of the streets in the north of the city in memory of legendary president of Venezuela Hugo Chavez.
Alexander Chistyakov, who is Acting head of the Committee on Public Relations, said that a thoroughfare in the Khoroshevsky district would be renamed and be given the name of the legendary president.
The Moscow government also decided to give names to nine more nameless streets in the city; one of them will be named after celebrated opera singer Galina Vishnevskaya, another one will be named after a village of Podushkino which once existed in the neighborhood.
