SEOUL, June 25 (Itar-Tass) - The South Korean government issued alert on Tuesday as websites of the presidential office and some governmental agencies and media agencies came under hacking attacks.
The Ministry of Science, ICT and Future Planning issued the fourth-highest level of cyber alert. According to the ministry, its staffers are monitoring round the clock the state telecommunications network. The South Korean cyber alert system has five levels. Normally, when attempts of hacker attacks are detected, the third-highest level is issued, the Yonhap news agency said.
