MOSCOW, June 24 (Itar-Tass) - The Simonovsky court of Moscow on Monday sentenced in absentia former YUKOS shareholder Leonid Nevzlin to six years in prison for illegal appropriation of shares in Eastern Oil Company.

According to Judge Alexei Nazarenko, his guilt in misappropriating shares in collusion in an especially large amount was established by the prosecution during the investigation.
