Turkey, US inspectors to make observation flight over Russia

Specialists will monitor compliance with regulations and accords regarding the application of technical observation means

MOSCOW, June 24 (Itar-Tass) - A group of Turkish and American inspectors will make an observation flight aboard a Turkish observation aircraft CN-235 over the territory of Russia under the Treaty on Open Skies within a period from June 24 to 28 to 28, the press service of the RF Defence Ministry reported on Monday.

A Ministry official said the aircraft and the onboard instrumentation underwent the necessary international inspection with the participation of Russia's representatives. The flight will be made along an air route fixed with Russian specialists. While on board, the specialists will monitor compliance with regulations and accords regarding the application of technical observation means.
