ST PETERSBURG, June 21 (Itar-Tass) - Cyprus settlement was in the focus of Friday’s meeting between Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov and his Cypriot counterpart Ioannis Kasoulides on the sidelines of the St Petersburg International Economic Forum.
The meeting “was held in the context of resuming inter-community talks due to start in the autumn”, the Russian Foreign Ministry reported.
“Kasoulides told Lavrov about the government’s approaches towards the upcoming talks. They discussed key bilateral and international issues,” the ministry said.
