ST PETERSBURG, June 21 (Itar-Tass) - Russia is one of the most important regions for China’s investments, China Investment Corporation President Gao Xiqing said at the St Petersburg International Economic Forum on Friday.

“China and Russia add each other than other BRICS countries. The governments support our interaction. We have no problems that other BRICS countries face,” Gao Xiqing said.

“I believe that political moments in BRICS are more important than the economic interests of the member-countries. The political influence of the BRICS member-countries does not correspond to their contribution to the development of mankind. I think that we deserve more in the world where America and Europe dominate. I don’t want to deemphasize the role of BRICS countries. There are many economic factors where the BRICS countries add each other. They are opponents in many fields. Each country has its specifics. Let’s think of a new world order. The world needs a new balance and the BRICS countries can say their word and form a more balanced world,” the Chinese official stressed.
