ST PETERSURG, June 21 (Itar-Tass) - Gazprom and Electricite de France have signed a protocol of intent on gas supplies at the St Petersburg International Economic Forum.
Sources in the Russian giant told Itar-Tass that gas would be supplied by the South Stream pipeline because EDF was Gazprom’s partner over the construction of the maritime section of the pipeline.
Earlier, Gazprom CEO Alexei Miller said the construction would be started in the second half of 2014.
