MADRID, June 21. /ITAR-TASS /. Eight members of a terrorist group associated with Al-Qaeda were detained in Ceuta, as reported today by Spain's Interior Ministry spokesperson.
The arrested have been recruiting militants in Spain and Morocco, which then were sent to Syria and other countries. Law enforcement authorities suspect that some of the recruits were trained as suicide bombers.
Spanish security forces continue the search of persons involved in the activities of Al-Qaeda, there may be further arrests.
