ST PETERSBURG, June 20 (Itar-Tass) - Weapons, which have been supplied to Syria, will be distributed through the Jebhat al-Nusra extremist organisation, Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov told Rossiya-24 TV Channel on Thursday.
“The partners realise the danger of the path that they can embark to,” the Russian minister said.
“Jebhat al-Nusra is the most effective structure of the opposition and the majority of weapons, which have been supplied to Syria, will be distributed through this extremist organisation. I’m sure of this,” Lavrov stressed.
