ST PETERSBURG, June 20 (Itar-Tass) - G-20 Sherpa Kseniya Yudayeva considers an idea put forth by the G-20 Youth Forum (Y20) to introduce the progressive tax scale on hydrocarbons emissions timely.

“It seems to me that this is rather far to agree with this idea,” the chief of the Presidential Experts’ Directorate told journalists on Thursday.

Yudayeva noted that the discussions on the Co-2 emissions were rather difficult in the Kyoto protocol. The measures, which are proposed by the Youth G-20, “are a more significant step forward”.

She believes that the idea itself should be discussed.
