KPRF candidate promises coalition administration if wins Moscow mayoral election

Ivan Melnikov believes that to solve problems they will have to involve specialists from different political parties

MOSCOW, June 18 (Itar-Tass) - First deputy chairman of the Central Committee of the Communist Party /KPRF/ Ivan Melnikov, who is running for Moscow mayor, promised to form a coalition city government with other political forces in case of his victory.

"To resolve the whole knot of problems in Moscow, we have to go the way of attracting specialists from different political parties," Melnikov underlined at a news conference on Tuesday.

"In case of my victory in the election, I'll form a coalition government where there'll be a place for specialists of various political views and political forces," he stated.

Moscow will have an early mayoral election on September 8, the first in the past decade.
