LOUGH ERNE, June 17 (Itar-Tass) - Russian sherpa in G8 Alexei Kvasov said the talks over rescheduling the Cyprus debt are at the initial phase.

The acute phase of the Cyprus crisis has passed, and this topic will not be discussed at the G8 summit, according to Kvasov.

"The Cyprus issue in its narrower profile is a topic for professional talks between finance ministers," Kvasov noted.

He underlined that the official letter from the Cyprus authorities had come five to six weeks ago.
