WARSAW, June 17 (Itar-Tass) - A suspicious-looking bag was found near the Russian consulate in Warsaw on Monday.
According to reports coming from Poland, the bag was spotted by a Polish policeman who was on duty in the area where the Russian embassy, its consular department, the Russian trade mission and the Center of Science and Culture are located. When the man tried to look what was inside, he felt sick. More policemen, fire fighters, medics and officers of sanitary and epidemiological services have been summoned to the area.
The incident has not told in the work of Russian missions, a source in the Russian consular department told Itar-Tass. “We have no details, but the police told us that the situation poses no threat to the diplomatic mission,” the source said.
