A bomb exploded during a funeral ceremony

CAIRO, June 14. /ITAR-TASS/. A terrorist attack that took place today in the eastern Afghan province of Khost left dead eight civilians, several people were injured. According to the spokespersons of the local authorities, it was the explosion of a bomb on the outskirts of Khost during a funeral ceremony.

Meanwhile, in Wardak province as a result of a suicide attack were killed four Afghans - members of the same family. Media noted that Taliban attacks are becoming even more audacious. This week, as a result of the terrorist attacks in the country were killed in total 35 people. According to foreign observers in Kabul, the increase of terrorist attacks by Taliban militants suggests that they are trying to determine the readiness of  the Afghan security forces for the withdrawal of U.S. and NATO troops in the coming year.
