MOSCOW, June 14 (Itar-Tass) - The data provided by the United States alleging the use of chemical weapons by Syrian government troops is not convincing, presidential aide Yuri Ushakov told reporters.

"You can hardly call it facts," Ushakov said confirming the words by U.S. Deputy National Security Adviser Ben Rhodes who had stated that the information had been passed to Moscow.

Holding a peace conference on the threat

U.S. rhetoric on the Syrian issue, and in particular the intention to expand the supply of arms Syrian opposition, do not contribute to the organization of an international conference to resolve the issue. "Of course, this does not facilitate the preparation of the international conference, if they choose, and will carry out a massive aid to opposition forces", - presidential aide Yuri Ushakov told reporters.

He recalled that the recent Syrian government forces have gained some success in dealing with the opposition. "I do not want to draw parallels, but I can recall that the Americans used to say that to them in the context of the Syrian issue have importance certain red lines, which the Assad regime should not surpass", - he added.

Ushakov suggested to wait for the next steps the Obama administration, in particular, for the report to Congress on the Syrian issue to draw further conclusions.
