ROSTOV-ON-DON, June 13 (Itar-Tass) - The North Caucasus district military court /SKOVS/ on June 18 will begin to hear a criminal case against serviceman Andrei Rezvanov, accused under seven articles of Russia's penal code, including the murder of Dagestan police chief Adilgerei Magomedtagirov in 2009, the SKOVS press service told Itar-Tass on Tuesday.

"Rezanov has signed a plea bargain agreement. Earlier he asked for special trial procedure," the press service said.

Investigators said a gang had hired him to commit crimes. Rezvanov fired his assault rifle at the minister and his colleagues who were celebrating a wedding at the Marakesh restrauant in Makhachkala. Aside from Magomedtagirov, Rezvanov killed Abdurazak Abakarov, chief of the logistics department of the Dagestani interior ministry. Seven persons were wounded in the shooting.
