MOSCOW, June 13 (Itar-Tass) - An antiterrorist exercise with the participation of servicemen of Russia and the People’s Liberation Army of China (PLAC) will be held at the Chebarkulsky range in the Chelyabinsk Region in early August, chief of the command post of the PLAC Air Force Senior Colonel Jin Jun Yi, who visited the Russian air base Shagol as a member of the Chinese delegation, said on Thursday.
According to the press service of the Central Military District, Chinese servicemen discussed with their Russian colleagues the issues of preparation for the exercise. The PLAC officers also familiarized themselves with airfields and the infrastructure of the military town, estimated the runway and checked the compatibility of Russian ground flight control means with technical parameters of their air equipment.
