MOSCOW, June 11 (Itar-Tass) - Moscow prosecutor’s office has warned organizers of the opposition march in downtown Moscow against any provocations.
Spokeswoman for the Moscow prosecutor’s office, Elena Rossokhina, told Itar-Tass on Tuesday, the city police have information about possible provocations against policemen during the opposition march on June 12. Opposition activists plan to march along Yakimanka Street to Bolotnaya Square, a site of last year’s riots.
“According to police information, protesters plan to make provocative actions against police officers. To prevent such actions, the office of the prosecutor of Moscow’s central administrative district has issued warnings to the organizers of the action, namely Petr Tsarkov, Yevgenia Tretyakova, Alexander Ryklin, and Alexander Sharov,” the spokeswoman added.
