Putin to participate in ONF constituent congress on June 12

On Wednesday, the second day of the congress, its participants are expected to approve the charter documents and the central governing body of the organization will be elected

MOSCOW, June 11 (Itar-Tass) - Russian President Vladimir Putin will participate in a constituent congress of the All-Russia People’s Front (ONF) on June 12, the Russian presidential press service reported on Tuesday.

The ONF congress is being held in two stages. On Tuesday, the founders from different Russian regions will discuss the prospects for development of the movement and its plans for several years to come and will put up the program documents for debates.

On the second day of the congress its participants are expected to approve the charter documents and the central governing body of the organization will be elected.

Over 1,500 people will participate in the congress. Representatives of the public organizations, which joined the front, Russian presidential agents, coordinators of regional ONF organizing committees, the heads of the Russian federal constituents, representatives of scientific and business circles, figures of culture and arts, as well as representatives of the confessions and the expert community will participate in the congress.
