MOSCOW, June 11 (Itar-Tass) - The so-called suicide belts have been defused in Makhachkala and Kaspiysk, the Information Centre of the National Anti-Terrorist Committee (NAC) told Itar-Tass.
“An improvised explosive device in the form of the so-called suicide belt with the capacity of 200 grams of TNT was found in a private house in Oskar Street in Makhachkala on Tuesday. A similar improvised explosive device was found also in an apartment in a house in Omarov Street in Kaspiysk,” a NAC representative said.
According to him, the improvised explosive devices were made from grenade launcher rounds with electric detonators connected to self detonation buttons.
