MAKHACHKALA, June 11 (Itar-Tass) - According to updated reports, three policemen from the mobile police unit of the Kemerovo Region were killed, two attackers were killed and two civilians have got gunshot wounds in the shootout with the bandits on the outskirts of the city Khasavyurt in Dagestan.
“Two gunmen opened automatic fire at about 10:30 Moscow time on Tuesday at the policemen, who were going out from the shop near the Novolaksky circle,” a spokesman of the republican branch of the Russian Investigative Committee told Itar-Tass. A policeman died instantaneously, two more policemen died on the way to the hospital as a result of the shootout. An attacker was killed on the spot in the shootout, the second criminal, who was wounded, tried to escape, but was killed in the pursuit on the outskirts of the settlement Tukhchar in the Novolakskoye district of the republic. Two civilians were injured in the clash with the bandits.
The criminal case was opened over the incident.
