All-Russia People’s Front to have 3 co-chairpersons

MOSCOW, June 11 (Itar-Tass) - The All-Russia People’s Front (ONF), a constituent congress of which opened in the Russian capital on Tuesday, will have three co-chairpersons, a ONF source told Itar-Tass.

In his words, one of co-chairpersons will become State Duma deputy, film director Stanislav Govorukhin, another co-chairperson will be one of leaders of the Business Russia organization Alexander Galushka.

The constituent congress, at which ONF is to form an all-Russia public movement, is to adopt program documents, the charter and elect its governing bodies. The supreme governing body will be a congress, which is expected to be held once in five years. The ONF central staff will be formed at the constituent congress. The ONF source noted that the central staff will include 50-55 people. The executive committee will be created within the structure of the congress.

An auditing committee will be one more key body, which chief of the organizing committee for the run-up to the ONF constituent congress, Hero of Russia Andrei Bocharov heads, the ONF source claimed. The auditing committee will fulfil “important functions - will actually control the effectiveness of the ONF work,” the ONF source said.

Russian President Vladimir Putin will be the ONF leader. The president initiated the creation of ONF.
