MOSCOW, June 10 (Itar-Tass) - An armed attack on an organization was committed in south-western Moscow, the press service of the main Interior Ministry’s department in Moscow said on Monday.
“The alarm call came to the police alert force at 09:55 Moscow time on Monday about an armed attack on an organization, which is situated at 11, Vernadsky Avenue,” the press service said. The police press officer noted that the eyewitness reported three masked unidentified criminals went in the office at 09:50 Moscow time and threatening with the objects resembling the weapons demanded the money. Meanwhile, they hit a female employee, after that they stole the money and escaped.
“The stolen sum is being specified, the team of detectives is working at the crime scene, the search for the attackers continues,” the police press officer said.
According to a source in the law enforcement agencies, the attack was committed on an office of Post of Russia, the stolen sum has made about 1.1 million roubles.
