MOSCOW, June 7 (Itar-Tass) - Iran is awaiting Moscow’s response to its proposal to withdraw the lawsuit on the deliveries of the S-300 missile air defence systems, Iranian Ambassador to Moscow Mahmoud Reza Sajjadi told Itar-Tass on Friday.
“At the moment the ball is in Russia’s court, but we are ready to continue cooperation on the S-300 systems,” the diplomat said. “We are awaiting Russia’s response to our proposal.”
Earlier, the Iranian side stated that it might withdraw the lawsuit that was filed with the Arbitration Court of Geneva in connection with Russia’s non-delivery of the S-300 systems, if Moscow fulfils the relevant agreements.
