Iran ready for new round of six-party talks without waiting for election

MOSCOW , June 7 (Itar-Tass) - Tehran has expressed full readiness to hold a new round of the six-party talks without waiting for the presidential election in Iran, Iranian ambassador to Russia Mahmoud-Reza Sajjadi told Itar-Tass on Friday.

“Iran is fully ready to hold the six-party talks without waiting for the presidential election,” he said. “Along with this, there is still no concrete date. We are ready to conduct talks even today.”

Sajjadi said the talks will take place, when negotiators from six countries will be ready for this.

In reply to the question of Itar-Tass whether a new round of the six-party talks can take place at the end of June or in July, the ambassador said, “we are ready to meet at any time.”
