SEOUL, June 7 (Itar-Tass) - South Korea on Friday accepted the North Korean side’s proposal to hold working talks between representatives of the two countries’ governments on June 9.

However, instead of the border city Kaesong (North Korea), as official Pyongyang stated earlier on Friday, the South Korean government proposed to hold the talks in the Panmunjom border point in the demilitarised zone separating the two states.

Earlier, Seoul put forward the initiative to sit down at the negotiating table in the South Korean capital on June 12.
