IZHEVSK, May 28 (Itar-Tass) - A famous armourer Mikhail Kalashnikov will be discharged from the hospital after a scheduled medical examination on Tuesday.

On Monday, he was taken to the republican clinical diagnostic centre in Izhevsk, where he underwent scheduled medical preventive measures to support his health under the supervision of doctors. He is expected to be checked out from the hospital on Tuesday, press secretary of the Izhmash armoury Yelena Filatova told Itar-Tass.

“Similar hospitalizations are made regularly 2-3 times a year. This is a routine practice for his old age, as Mikhail Kalashnikov will turn 94 in November,” she said.

Mikhail Timofeyevich is feeling well, receives guests, reads all letters and addresses, which are coming to him, referent of the legendary armourer Sergei Nosachev said.
