KRASNODAR, May 26 (Itar-Tass) - A privately owned single-engine amphibious plane C-22 crashed in Russia’s southern Krasnodar territory Sunday, the territorial branch of the Ministry for Emergency Situations and Civil Defense /EMERCOM/ told Itar-Tass.

The owner of the plane and two passengers died, the report said.

The plane crashed at 20:50 Moscow Standard Time. The flight was being performed over a private airfield and was not authorized by the regional civil aviation agencies.

At the time of reporting, twenty-one rescuers and six units of technology were engaged in eliminating the aftermaths of the crash.

The spot of the accident is located in the Dinskaya district in the central part of the Krasnodar territory.
