YEKATERINBURG, May 25 (Itar-Tass) - Several more episodes of power abuse by a senior military logistics official have been found in the Kemerovo Region.
The head of the logistics service of Troops Unit 21005, Maj. Alexander Borshchin, during the period from February to August in 2012 signed documents on work that was expected to be done by the Oboronservice holding, but was not done, spokesman for the Central Military District prosecutor's office Alexei Okatyev said.
Fourteen episodes of criminal activities of Borshchin have been detected. He signed documents reporting about done work, without checking the fulfillment.
Funds were transferred to Oboronservice, though work to provide cleaning services for sanitary maintenance of buildings and installations in military towns of the Yurga garrison was not done in fact.
Material damage to the state in the case exceeds 20 million roubles, Okatyev said.
The criminal case against Borshchin was opened in December 2012. At the moment, the damage was estimated at more than 9.3 million roubles.
