MOSCOW, May 22 (Itar-Tass) - This year it is planned to carry out nine launches of the Proton carrier rocket, Director General of the Khrunichev State Space Research and Production Centre Alexander Seliverstov announced on Wednesday.
“In 2013, it is planned to carry out nine launches of the Proton carrier rocket for orbiting various satellites. A total of 12 launches were scheduled for the current year, three of which have already taken place,” he said.
Seliverstov also noted that there is no dynamics in the Proton launches, compared to last year. “A total of 12 launches are planned for this year, the same number of them - 12, were carried out last year,” he said.
