MOSCOW, May 19 (Itar-Tass) - The Civic Platform Party will run in next elections in the State Duma due in 2016. Meanwhile, leader of the party Mikhail Prokhorov hopes that by this moment of time his supporters will be represented in more than half of regional executive bodies of power.
In his view, the main goal of Civic Platform will be the construction of a strong political party in next three years. The party “should be represented in more than 60 regional parliaments.”
“With this force we should get ready for the State Duma elections in 2016,” Prokhorov said at a forum of the party.
