CHERNOGOLOVKA, Moscow Region, May 18 (Itar-Tass) - Russian Economic Development Minister Andrei Belousov believes that the latest speculations and rumors of his coming resignation are a sure sign that he seriously affects somebody’s interests.
“This merely indicates that in this particular case I seriously affect somebody’s interests,” Belousov told the media on Friday. “I see this as a positive signal.”
Asked about how long he was going to work in the capacity of economics minister, Belousov replied “this depends not only on me, but also on a decision by the president and the prime minister.”
“As soon as there is any other decision, I shall certainly follow it, because this is a civil service job and it requires the observance of certain ethics,” Belousov said.
