OREL, May 4 (Itar-Tass) - The Moscow government’s deputy head of the department of sciences, entrepreneurship and industry Andrei Uvarov was killed in Orel, Head of the local police’s press service Mariya Shakina told Itar-Tass on Saturday.

At about midnight on May 4, the police received information about a dead body found in a house in Novikova Street. The man born in 1977 had received three gunshots, she said.

The police went to the site immediately. The investigation says the man had been killed from a TT gun.

“The body was found at 23:40 on Friday,” the press service added.

The neighbours in the house had heard some strange noise and called for an ambulance. The doctors, who arrived to the house, tried reanimation but later had to confirm the death.

“Now, the police continue their work to identify the criminal,” the source said.
