VLADIVOSTOK, April 29 (Itar-Tass) - A large and beautiful playground is already built for the children of the Kuzmenko family in the settlement of Novoshakhtinsk. There is everything to play all days in the open air -- bright slides, sandboxes, swings, ladders and arbors, certificated and safe, such as in yards in Vladivostok.
"Thanks, the ground is already built. It is large and beautiful. The children are very glad," Yelena Kuzmenko told the region's Governor Vladimir Miklushevsky during their meeting on Monday.
During the direct line session on April 25, one of the Kuzmenko daughters asked President Vladimir Putin to make a playground near their home. The Kuzmenko family has 15 children, 12 of them adopted, who had practically no place to play outdoors.
Yelena Kuzmenko told the governor about other problems of the family. They need a bus for the family to go on holiday together and go shopping. Their house needs repairing. They also have problems with medical treatment -- there is no dentist in the settlement, and they have to go a hundred kilometers away to the city of Ussurriisk for medical care.
"I will present a vehicle, a bus, to you for all the children to be placed in it with comfort. I will give instructions on the rest issues to the vice-governors. They will consider the possibility to help," Miklushevsky assured.
The aid for the Kuzmenko family is not a one-off action, but part of steps to support adoptive families. Under consideration in the region is the possibility to increase the regional part of the benefits for adoptive families.
Land plots will be also provided for such families in accordance with the law on land, the governor noted, adding that not only adoptive families with many children would have the right to receive land plots, but also families with two children.
