MOSCOW, April 26 (Itar-Tass) – The Investigative Committee /SK/ has finished the probe into the criminal case against 12 persons accused of participating in Bolotnaya Square riots on May 6.
"Andrei Barabanov, Stepan Zimin, Denis Lutskevich, Yaroslav Belousov, Artyom Savelov, Sergei Krivov, Alexandra Dukhanina and Alexei Polikhovich are accused of the commission of crimes covered by Article 212, Part 2 of Russia's penal code /participation in mass disturbances/ and Article 318, Part 1 /using violence against government representative/. Vladimir Akimenkov, Nikolai Kavkazsky and Leonid Kovyazin are accused of participating in mass disturbances /Article 212, Part 2/.
Maria Baronova is accused under Article 212, Part 3 /calls for riots and disobeying the legitimate demands by government representatives/, the SK press service told Itar-Tass on Friday.
The investigators have gathered sufficient evidence; in this connection, the criminal case has been sent to the Prosecutor General's Office which will endorse the indictment and refer the case to the court, an SK representative said.
